SD Card Reader Issues

My sd card reader won't read any of my sd cards!

Anyone have this problem?

I tried this patch, but it says it is not for my system.

Everytime I put the card in, I can see it. I cannot access or format it.

How many cards have you tried and what manufacturer/model are they? How are they formatted? The latest X61s BIOS (2.19) mentions a fix for the Ricoh readers, not specifically for card recognician issues, but probably worth a shot. Also, is this a Lenovo preload or did you do this build from scratch? What reader drivers did you use, and where did you get them from? What machine type/model is the Thinkpad? (see the bottom sticker)

I've tried about 3 cards, I don't own that many. All are 2gb, two are from sandisk one from lexar. Formatted FAT. I have the latest bios, my laptop is the x61t model CTO. The drivers are SDA Standard Compliant SDA Host Controller from MS dated 06/21/06 Version 6.0.6001.18000.
