Should I buy a new battery?

Alright, well after two years of use my x60s battery can only hold a 15min charge. I was thinking about buying a replacement battery, but can not decide between the 4-cell slim line and the 8-cell batteries. What I really like about the 8-cell battery is the 7-8hrs of work I can do on it, but the extra weight is kind of annoying when i just want to take a few notebooks and my laptop around (since it feels like a text book instead of another notebook.) I expect the 4-cell slim lined battery will feel more like another notebook, since the extra bulk at the back will be gone, but i do not know if I want to trade off for smaller size for less battery life.

The reason I had the 8-cell battery in the first place because of my uni work and work could all be completed in one sitting. Now I do not have to stay on my laptop on battery power as long. I am thinking 4-cell will be just fine for me for $87usd, but for $121usd I can purchase an 8-cell battery...

So the bargain shopper in me is saying "buy the 8-cell with extra battery life", since I get +50% more capacity for 50% price increase. Though the rational economist in me is saying "the benefit does not out weight the cost", since I will not be utilizing the full 8 hours of work time all the time for the 50% price increase....

Or you could buy both.

Then depend on the situation, use the appropriate battery.

I was told by Lenovo recently that the four-cell is out of production for good, so if you can still find one (some) in stock, I'd grab 'em.
