Memory Limitations on the X61 and X60?

Reading this thread the T61 is shown to be upgradable to 8gb of ram (and maybe beyond if larger memory in this speed is ever made?).

Is the same true for the X61? I imagine the X60 has the same limitations as the T60 and is limited to 3gb regardless of operating system.

Does anyone have this info? Thanks a lot.

I believe x61 would recognize all 8 GB (with the appropriate OS).
