I've have my X61 about three weeks without any connection prooblems. I did a powerpoint pres (which I guess should have nothing to do with this issue) got home plugged it in to the powercord and booted up. I cannot get any wireless connection and when I plug in the modem directly to the computer I still get nothing.
When I press Fn ad F5 it says that the internal wireless device is set to "radio off" in the Bios or powered off by a hardware switch.
I've never looked at the radio off because I could not find it in the Bios and I can't find a switch on the computer.
Any help is appreciated
Henry

Re: wireless
There is a wireless radio switch on the lower front case.
Re: wireless
Thank you. I never saw that when I was looking for a switch
