Comparing hardware between x60 and x41

I recently cracked the screen on my X41. I have also been rather unhappy about the slow hard drive, but I like its form for traveling.

Now there is a used X60 on sale at a good price.

Would I be able to use the extra memory I have in the X41?
Could I use the docking station from the X41?
What about battery, are they different?

I just found a reference that seems to say that the X60 have a keyboard where they have added the dreaded Windows key. That is something I really have no use for and go to great lengths staying away from on my desktop. Could I put in the X41 keyboard instead?

Docking station, battery, ram, hdd and keyboard are incompatible between x4 and x6 series. Incompatibility issues within the x-series are because each new x series is made special to keep it slim.

In contrary, bulkier T6x series and T400/T500 series is compatible regarding keyboard, battery, hdd and docking station.

I own both x41 and x60. RAM from X41 should work on x60. X41 uses 200 pin DRR2 RAM stick, same for X60.

AFAIK the RAM sockets are the same (DDR2 SO-DIMM 200-pin). But the maximum frequency supported on the X41 is 533MHz versus 667MHz on the X61.

Not sure if installing 533MHz RAM modules on the X61 is okay or not. I haven't tried it myself. Anybody knows?

P.S. It could be possible that the current module installed on Lars' X41 is already a 667MHz module. You can use a system information software like ASTRA32 (http://www.astra32.com/) to check it out.
