I have a slim DVD from my T60P (FRU 39T2679), is there any reason or advantage to sped for the one specific for the X6 base (FRU 39T2851 P/N41N5643)?

I believe they are interchangeable unless someone else wants to correct me.

Thanks for the confirmation, just didn't want to buy something only to have it idle most of the time.
