After a lot of bad experiences with Turbo Memory, and then a much reliable X61T after disabling ReadyDrive and ReadyBoost, I've decided to try out the updated Intel Storage Matrix and Turbo Memory drivers. There is an updated driver on the Lenovo site from April 2009 for Intel Storage Matrix that refers to fixes for various blue screens and crashes.
The updated Intel Turbo Memory driver is 1.9.0.1006
The updated Intel Storage Matrix driver is 8.8.0.1009
So far it seems fine: no crashes, and a slight, but noticeable, improvement in speed. Suspend/resume seems very much quicker.
Anyone else notice this? Anyone out there with a stable X61T WITH Turbo Memory enabled?
Turbo Memory working?
