Hi all,

I've read almost every thread related to GPS on the forum, and am more puzzled than ever. While there are references to GPS in the X6x forum, I can't determine if it's even possible to have this functionality. So, a few questions...

1) Is GPS on the X6x even possible with existing Lenovo hardware?
2) If yes for #1, then what's required... hardware, software, updates?

TIA...

Hello

You are probably looking for a built-in GPS, to which I don't know the answer.

What I use is a bluetooth-connected GPS device (Holux m-241), with Garmin Mobile PC as the software. Be aware that the Garmin offering is a bit confusing: According to their website it appears that you have to purchase a GPS mouse from Garmin along with the software, otherwise it won't work.
However at least in stores in Switzerland there is also a DVD from Garmin with MobilePC on it (along with map material), which allows one to use any Bluetooth GPS device. This is what I have.
