i have a very annoying problem with vista in x60t.
when i press the rotate button the screen turns to black and takes about 7-10sec to rotate. in xp the rotation was immediate.
i made a clean install of vista, installed all the system update soft, even tried to install the "newer" intel chipset drivers.
any clue?
thank you in advance.
Slow rotate in X60t with vista?

thank you very much.richk wrote:Try turning off aero
is there a reason that makes this happen?
Re: Slow rotate in X60t with vista?
It was a guess, but aero does lots of shading, etc, that strains graphics processors. There is lots to repaint when the screen rotates.
