Help Lenovo 5350 wimax will not work.

I bought a Lenovo 5350 and installed it to my x61 using a mod bios from this forum. i pass the log on error and it was detected by xp and installed the right driver. access connection work fine. no problem connecting to my wireless router. i installed also the lenovo intel wimax driver and utility but the it does not work! it should have detected wimax as USB device but the card was not detected as wimax on device manager.
