X60s lcd screen replacement with an X41 lcd scren, possible?

hallo
i broke the screen of my X60s and i found for few dollars an X41 lcd screen ; the seller told me that i can swap the lcd just because it is the same of the X60s i have only to connect the ribbon cable on it! IT IS TRUE???
i can really use an X41 lcd screen for my X60s?

Check the datasheets for the two different panels and make sure the pinout is the same. The panel type/number can be found both stamped on the front of the aluminum assembly or on the back on the label.

Do you have the Ultralight screen? If so, I hear it might not physically fit, as they are thinner than the standard.

I'd suggest putting in an AFFS screen while you're swapping out - I paid $90 for mine shipped for an X41 Tablet screen. A few snips here and there, and a trim & flip of the ribbon cable was all it took.
