X60s - X60 : which are the difference betwen the two models?

hallo
i need to replace the motherboard of my X60s broken by sea water;
can i replace with a X60 motherboard that i found on ebay cheaper than X60s mtherboards?
which are the differences ?

I'd say no, since the X60 and X60s take different CPUs (which are soldered to the mobo), but I cannot be 100% sure.

An X60s motherboard will fit into an X60, but not vice versa. The X60 motherboard has a larger fan than the X60s, and that larger fan will not fit in the fan cavity of the X60s case. However, you can buy a bottom case for an X60 for very little, and solve the problem that way.

The new motherboard you get (x60 or X60s) may or may not have two mini-PCIe slots, i.e., if you need internal WWAN, then make certain that the second mini-PCIe slot exists on the new motherboard.
