I have a project x60, which I've just put together. I replaced broken parts like the power jack, the bottom case, keyboard and palmrest. Everything seems to be working but the lcd. When booting up I only get a totally white/grey picture on the lcd. On an external display I get a picture, can access the BIOS, and can boot to windows. PC doctor tests report everything ok.
The indicator lights seem to be mostly off too. Only bluetooth light seems to work, all the other stay black. I wonder if this could be related to the lcd cable. This machine had the other hinge loose, so it's possible that the lcd cable has been under some abnormal pressure.
I'd appreciate any ideas how to debug this further.

Re: x60 and blank screen
Most common reason for white screen is non-seated, disconnected, or damaged cable
