12.5mm 1-Terabyte HDD: will it fit?

Hello, can somebody tell me whether it is possible to mount a 2.5" HDD with a heigth of 12.5mm into a X61s? I am eyeing the new 1-terabyte WD Scorpio Blue drive , but I do not know whether this is doable.

I have found that the X61s drive bay is higher than 9.5mm: there are two rubber spacers and a metal plate that fill the extra room. But is it enough?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The rubber spacers also provide for shock absorption and proper alignment of the drive inside in unit. Without it, the data/power connectors may not line up properly.

Best to not try and shoe-horn in a larger physical drive.
