Hi I am thinking of the 12.5mm for use in the ultrabay in my X6 doking station, does anyone know if this will fit or not ?

Ultrabay Slim, as used in the X6 dock, will not accept a drive over 9.5mm in thickness. I should clarify that and say the hard drive may fit inside of the HD adapter, but you wouldn't be able to slide it into the bay.

I wonder if one of those would fit in a R60, which probably has more room than a X6 UltraBase. I'd love to get one.

ThinkWiki appears to say that an R60 will accept 12.7mm high drives in the Ultrabay Enhanced.

I'm more interested in the hard drive bay than the UltraBay, but thanks for the link.

The last hard drive bays that accepts 12.7mm thick drives (that I know of) is in older systems such as the 600X and A31. According to the ltwbook.pdf file, R60 only has a 9.5mm high hard drive bay.
