Hello!

New to the forum, but have read quite much here the past year.

So long story short: I sent in my X61 (7673-CTO) for repair, second fan was broken (still has warranty on the machine). Got it back from service shop with quite interesting errors.

Watch this video I put up.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOdGptWWHEk

Since I the computer back, it has been returned to the service company that Lenovo uses in Sweden (Anovo Nordic AB). During the last repair they managed to create about seven new damages and errors to the machine, so if you don't have warranty on you machine and only can send it to Anovo, don't!

So I got a message from Lenovo today, they say that they can't figure out what was wrong with the screen (what caused that witch can bee seen on the video). That is why I joined this forum. I'm certain that someone here could have an idea about what's wrong with it.

However, the errors that is seen on the video stopped manifesting after approx 24 hours, I used the Thinkvantage recovery tool to analyser the hardware, and no error was reported. During the first 24 hours the computer went extraordinary hot, I almost burnt myself, witch is something that never had happened before (nor since) regardless of the CPU-load (computer did not shut-down automatically when it happened).

Personally I figured some kind of glitch between screen and LCD connector to the motherboard. But I checked that before it got returned, and it looked fine, everything seemed to be OK.

Does someone has any clue about this? It could help me very much with.

Thanks for any assistance!
