from X60s broken to X60 working:replacement project

hallo,
i broke my X60s 1703-cto (with lcd swpg and wifi antenna)by sea water filling; now i bought a motherboar with base bottom used with wwan sierra mc5720 (ev-do)
the lcd is totally broken and even the lid has now few hole for corrosion ; i just saved the hinges, the wifi antennas, and maybe the inverter
so i want to convert my X60s into X60 with wwan and i'm trying to find all what i need by ebay just because the ibm shop asked me tooooo much!
i found wwan cable set new and original for 20$ with fru 93P4543 but the HMM reports that there is an antenna for my sierra with fru 93p4338; so my question are:
why this difference?
can i buy the 93p4543 for a sierra mc5720 without issue or problems? (may be that i'll change wwan card just because in Italia we use gsm system or 3g umts system with hsdpa or uhsdpa never heard the ev-do)
what will happen if i use the 93p4543 with a sierra mc5720?
other problem , i have to change the lcd; i have the lcd cable fru 91p6971 and inverter fru 39t5699;are they compatible with lcd 42t0343 that i found on ebay?
or which inverter i have to buy?( at moment i think that mine works but i'm not sure)
which top cover lid i have to buy ? the 41v9719 (tmd) or 41v9718 (swpg)?which is compatible with wwan antenna cable?(93p4543)
i know taht is boring with all these fru part's number ti give help...but i hope to get it!

I have to ask this question because maybe we are having a language issue. When I read the first part of your post, what I get out of it is that your X60s was somehow flooded or immersed in 'sea-water', and that the entire thing is a loss except for the hinges and antennas, and maybe the inverter. Even the LCD is toast. So now you are trying to rebuild it piece by piece from EBay parts? If nothing is salvageable, how can that be accomplished? Wouldn't it make more sense just to buy another X60s? By the way, salt water is about the worse thing (because of it's corrosive properties) that you can dunk an electronics device into. I would not even trust the inverter.

dear harry..is only maybe my bad english!
i would not be boring to tell how i broke it, that's all!
i pc is fallen down from its bag to stones on seaside; there was some sea water and half of pc is fallen into! so i have half side (right side so hd, ac power, usb, and half lcd etc destroyed by corrosion) good and half side destroyed! now i'm trying to rebuilt what is destroyed!
i bought a used complete base bottom with matherboard (with wwan sierra mc5720 ev-do)for 100$ (1706-e3u) and now step by step i'm rebuilding.
i can use the palmrest (the finger reader card was not wet), the hd is destryed but not the caddy, the keyboard(it seems working).
the lcd cover is destroyed by corrosion with few little hole (1-2 mm each) the inverter 39t5699 was dry so i think it works but if it doesn't work i saw some inveter in ebay but i don't know whch is the right one for the lcd 42t0343 (swpg)that i found on ebay too and for wwan led.
the right hinge and right black antenna after diassembly and washing are now in excellent condition so i think i can use them.
the front bezel is a plastic one so no corrosion and i saw where to buy the led plate with wwan option for few dollars .
i'll need patience and time but i'll rebuilt it!

as example of my not good english :rebult in my previous means rebuild and until now i spent 100$ for base bottom and motherboard, 20$ for hd.
it could be that i'll spend 20$for wwan(but in any case it's a very useful upgrade for me) 80$ for lcd, 27$ for top cover, 3$ for led plate and 40$ for new battery. with 290$ (207€) i could not buy a new one! than i'm enjoying to rebuild it...it's a passion! (1€ is 1,40$ but here with power of purchasing of 1$)

Does that about cover it? Please post the machine type/model and serial numbers from the sticker on the bottom of the original base. In fact, don't post the serial number publically. Send it to me in a PM.

the actual machine type is now X60 1706-E3U ( the x60s 1703-CTO is unusable and i consider it died) so the correct questions are :

The inverter will work with any X60 LCD.

LCD 42T0343 is a 12.1" XGA LCD, manufactured by CMO. According to the parts manual, LCD cable 91P6971 is the correct cable for machine type/model 1706-E3U. See my answer above for the inverter question.

i saw the parts list before writing and lenovo site for thi is enigmatic: they report FRU # 93P4543 as "WAN antenna cable set" generically, and the model number listed are all X61, i think, but many parts of X61 are the same of X60 /X60s simply with an other FRU number! in any case i compare the model number and i discover that antenna is for a cover SPWG like the LCD and like my destroyed cover ( but what does it mean SPWG and TMD?)
usually the covers of X60/X60s are the same of X61 even if they have different FRU number isn'it?
my doubt comes out because for each card (sierra, verizon etc) there is an antenna FRU number and even if it is incomprensible for me, some reason could be? or not?
