TP X61s battery self discharge rate?

What does everyone consider "normal" for self discharge while on AC power? I have an aftermarket battery that discharges about 1% per day even while on AC power 100%. Is this "normal? I fly electric RC aircraft and that self discharge rate is definitely not normal for those packs. But they don't have built in electronics that draw power either.
I only paid $35 for the battery so I am not that upset. But it is returnable and if that self discharge rate is way above normal I might try a different vendor.
