Good day!
Some days ago I have bought INTEL WiFi WM3945ABG MOW1 on Ebay.com from Honk Kong. But when I inserted this board in my X61s and restart it I have seen next message – ERROR1802 unauthorized mini-PCI wifi card pleas switch off your PC and remove it.
In this form I found a lot of discussion about the same problem with ERROR1802 and PCI wifi cards but unfortunately I still don’t understand how to solve my problem.
Dose it possible to use this INTEL WiFi WM3945ABG MOW1 with my X61s or not?
What do I have to do?
Some authors suggest upgrade BIOS version of X61s other ones rewrite internal sub-system ID of INTEL WiFi WM3945ABG MOW1. Also I found information about pin 20 isolation of INTEL WiFi WM3945ABG MOW1.
Which way is right for me?
