X60 or X60s Recovery Disc Question

I am having problems with an X60s Win XP Pro recovery CD set that I purchased (not from Lenovo). I have (8) discs, and the first disc does not appear to boot. Can someone do me a favor please and check out what is on the first boot disc in their set? I have a folder called RRbackups, and in that folder is a sub folder called 'C', and in that folder is another sub folder called '0', and in that folder are (14) files named data0 through data13. .e.g \RRbackups\C\0\data0
It's almost like the seller made discs from his actual Rescue and Recovery backup files...

My X61 Thinkpad rescue and restore uses only one CD and one DVD. The CD has the normal MS-DOS boot programs, I386 and Preboot folders, and some Win51 small exe files. Once booted, this disk eventually calls for the Recovery DVD. The Recovery DVD has only one folder: RECOVERY.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, so I am probably correct in my assumption that the discs that I received are not R&R restore discs.

syrahnose, thanks for the link and tips. I agree I think I do need just an R&R boot disc. I ordered a complete set though in the end, so we'll see what happens.
