Hi
My first post...
I have had a bit of a nightmare with my X60. To summerise.
Windows startup became corrupt.
None of the recovery options would work.
So i used ( Rescue files ) in the ThinkVantage Recovery Centre at start up to back up all my files to an external hard drive.
Re-installed the OS with the ThinkVantage at start up. Then when I try and Restore the files i backed up it doesn't pick up the external HDD.
I have checked the files are still there which they are. Can anyone confirm that they can be restored ?? or that they are defo safe at least ?
Many thanks
