The battery of my X61 (7675CTO) is dead and I am looking for replacement. I have found some on e-bay. (

Has anybody any experience with batteries of these kind? How they compare to those branded by Lenovo?

Why even bother with generic replacements? I bought two new Lenovo OEM batteries (one slim line 4-cell, one enhanced 4-cell) for $25 each after shipping to Canada from the US. A new 8-cell would cost me $50. Never overpay for things like this and never buy generic (unless your laptop is over 7 years old and the manufacturer no longer makes those batteries).
Cheers, and good luck

Great price indeed. However, I live neither USA nor in Canada and in my vicinity an 8-cell battery for X61 costs about 200$. Anyway, it seems that it is still worth to pay the price and to get reasonable product.
Thank you for advice.

Still would like to see the link for a $25 battery delivered!
I bought an 8 cell for my X61 from Ebay wholesaler in NY for $38 delivered after bingcashback of $3.50. Fast delivery and good customer support. I charged it and then played three movies at full brightness and normal volume with radio off. It lasted 4 hours and 10 mins. It might last a little bit longer on a plane using headphones. But anyway, 4 hours is good enough. Besides with the latest TSA Airplane restrictions on LiIon batteries, you may not get on the plane with that huge 12 cell!

Links, or photos, or it didn't happen.
$25 is less than the price for most generics.
