BSOD on Vista x64 with Thinkpad X61s. Where do I start?

I have a Thinkpad X61s with Vista Ultimate x64 (with all the latest patches) installed. I installed all the latest drivers in about a month ago.

I get BSODs every now and then, but most notably when playing a video on an external screen. Where do I start when diagnosing this?

I did the following:

1) There is a crashlog, but it appears only to have the drivers installed on my machine. I don't remember where I found it though, but has extension .log

2) When I first bought the machine and installed 3rd party RAM, I tested it with memtest on both the regular and the deep scan. I ran each for at least 10 hours straight with no problems.

3) BSOD problems happened recently after I clean re-installed Vista x64 (previously ran fine) on the machine, installed the latest drivers and turning on bitlocker. Prior to that I had no problems....

I did some searches, but most don't apply to me. Help would be very much appreciated.

By googling the stop code you are getting, and reading forum threads / KB articles describing the problem, possible causes and solutions.

Is there a log or somewhere on my computer I can find this code for the crash instead of waiting for it to happen again?

It does some kind of memory dump when it happens, but doesn't say where.

Most likely in WINDOWS\MiniDump.

Use DumpChk.exe.
