Swapping LCD parts on two separate Thinkpad x61T

Hi,
I bought a second hand Thinkpad x60t with multitouch where the LCD screen will only be visible with a flashlight directly shined on it. The x60t LCD screen lights up fine when I plug it into a Thinkpad X41t inverter. I also was able to pick up a Thinkpad x61t LCD screen non multitouch unit for cheap on ebay. I got the Thinkpad x60t base unit to work with the Thinkpad x61t LCD screen unit and have been using it for several weeks.
Now, is it possible to swap parts out of the x61t LCD unit into the x60t LCD unit to use the multitouch function of the x60t? If it is possible, what parts do I need to exchange?
Thanks for helping
