I can't figure this one out.
Only the wireless LED works out of the whole group under the screen and none of the LEDs on top of the lid work either.
I replaced the inverter which did nothing, so I'm back to square one. They have never worked since I got the laptop used.
All other functions and dedicated buttons work
Anyone else come across this or have any ideas?
Thanks (again) in advance.

LEDs don't work X60S
Re: LEDs don't work X60S
It could be the LCD cable, but that is unlikely. It is most likely the motherboard. If it is the motherboard, it is either a fuse or a more basic problem. The fuses can be replaced, but it requires better equipment than a "radio shack" soldering iron.
Re: LEDs don't work X60S
Yep it was the cable, I got a used one from eBay now all the LEDs are up and running.
