Hi,
I just reinstalled XP and updated all my drivers. Everything seems to be working well (after I installed an older video driver to stop the screen from flickering), except that I've been having audio glitches with an Echo Indigo PCMCIA sound card. The ethernet is also not working, but the wireless is. I tried disabling the ethernet (PRO/1000), and lo and behold, my audio started working fine.
I thought maybe installing an older ethernet driver would solve my problems, but I can't seem to make it work. I've tried updating the driver uninstalling the driver, deleting the files, and replacing the files with older versions, but the 9.12.42.0 version always reappears in Device Manager.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Greg
