hi, everybody~
I upgrated my x61t 7767 from Vista Business to Win7 Ultimate recently, however, win7 can't find my bluetooth device. There are nothing about bluetooth under Control Pannel->Devices and Printer. I try to install the bluetooth driver--Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate software v6.1.0.5100 , but it is said " No bluetooth device was detected "( i am sure that the bluetooth works fine under vista). Also in the Thinvantage menu -> Wireless -> Power on/off wireless Radio, the page of Bluetooth has vanished ... Do you have any ideas about the problem? Thanks

Run PC-Doctor diagnostics on the bluetooth adapter.

Could it be the BIOS? You'll need to update to the latest version to have any hope of a full featured Win 7.

hi, buddies, thanks for your posts. The problem has been solved on itself... Oops, 24 hours later after I changed the windows setting: Computer Management ->Services and Application -> Services -> Bluetooth Servie, Bluetooth Support
Change the status of both items from manual to automatic, then Restart the service. However, nothing happened immediately after I made the changes, even after I rebooted for several times. Then I just turned my x61t into sleep last night and made no changes any further. This morning, when I turn on my wireless network in Thinvantage menu -> Wireless -> Power on/off wireless Radio, I am surprised to find Power on/off bluetooth option and it works!!! Cheers~
p.s. after installation win 7, I have upgrade the BIOS to newest version (v 1.24). Also, in the PC doctors diagnostics(I think it has been integrated into Thinkvantage Toolbox), everything is fine. What's more, before I changed the windows setting yesterday, I also tried to install the Intel Chipset Support. I don't know whether it contributed to the recovery of my Bluetooth...
Anyway, thanks for you all~
