X61s battery replacement lenovo vs oem?

My X61s is about 2 years old. the battery is not holding a charge for long (<1 hr). Any suggestions on battery replacement (lenovo vs oem)?

As far as I can tell the general consensus is that it is better stick to Lenovo batteries if you can. If your thinkpad happens to be too old and there are no OEM batteries for it around anymore then of course you have no choice but go for aftermarket. Fortunately, you can still buy Lenovo battery packs for X6*.

P.S. OEM actually means original equipment manufacturer. When ebay listings say "OEM" battery, they are basically lying to you. They are selling an OEM "Style" battery. or an OEM "replacement". Its a joke and meant to trick you. OEM should mean exactly what lenovo sells you.
