Hello everyone,
I've just noticed that on my x61 Tablet, the Power Manager icon on my task bar is doing some strange things. At random times, the icon will change to the "no battery installed" gray battery with dashes in it. After a minute, the gauge will return to the normal green with % power left. This is with the AC adapter plugged in. If I double click the icon while it is showing the no battery icon, the battery information tab shows the correct data for the battery and that it is in good condition.
If I'm just on battery power, I will get the gray with red x, battery error icon every so often. Again, the battery info tab shows the correct information while the Lenovo Power Manager taskbar icon is glitching. Nothing else seems to be affected.
I was just wondering if this is a simple software issue or should I be expecting the tablet to self destruct any moment now?
I did a virus scan, malwarebytes scan and a spybot scan. Other than tracking cookies, the laptop is clean.
Thanks in advance!
