Has anybody tried this or similar skin for X6*?

I wonder, whether it really looks as great as promised. And what is no less important - is it possible to remove it witout leaving traces in case you do not want it anymore?

A friend of mine had something similar for his T61... don't know if it was the exact same thing. Did look great as it was applied with care. It is removable, expect some glue residue though.

Just my 2 cents worth...

I always use skins for my laptops.
I have the x60s with this skin, and i can tell you it work great.
Just be sure to clean carefully the laptop before you stick it and it will look like it come from factory with that skin.

Thanks!
Can you tell how the skin is attached to the lid. What kind of glue they use?

I dont know exactly which glue they use. But it just a normal big sticker that you can remove later. However if you have dirt under it , it will get removed alone by time. You must be 100% sure that the laptop is clean before applying the skin.

As a matter of fact I did not indend to use the skin for palmrest. It is the lid that I am concerned about. However, I am too busy with other things to care about such trivial problems.
