X60 power works fine except on battery

Even though the Lenovo power program claims my battery is good, it can neither charge it nor run off it. I have two batteries, one is new so doubt it is the battery. Any idea what's up? Thanks.

Has the new battery ever charged and worked? Is it an original Lenovo part or is it a knock-off?

Both batteries were working fine and both are OEM.

Well, if both batteries are known good, you're looking at a blown fuse on the board or a problem with the charging circuitry which would require a systemboard replacement.

What is the full model number? I may have a replacement board?
