X61T w/Gobi 1000

I have a Gobi 1000 I pulled from a HP netbook, it seems to load into the X61T no problem, no 1802/4 errors. My problem is getting it enabled. Anyone know of a trick to get the card to actually turn on so Windows7 can detected it? Nothing in device manager, so I assume it's not powered up. Hoping for a possible fix while I wait for Zender to send over a custom bios. I am hoping the Fn+f5 mods will allow me to power it up.
