Hi,
As my Sierra MC8755 is working not so good for me I'm going to change my wwan card.
Witch card hase better sencivity. Dell has grater download speed (7,2 vs. 3,6) and build in gps antenna. But I rather prefer stable and strong range than additional stuff.
Can you help?
Are those 2 cards will run on "hacked" x60 bios?
M.
WWAN: Sierra MC8775 or DELL 5520 ?

Title states MC8775, but your post states MC8755? Which is it? I suspect MC8755 on an X60 with standard BIOS. If what you have now is an MC8755, then also consider an MC8775 and an Ericsson F3507g along with the Dell 5520. You will be able to use any of those cards after you tape Pin-20 and you change to a modified BIOS,
