touchscreen/digitiser upgrade for X61

Greetings!

I was just wondering if it is possible obtain touchscreen features by installing the digitiser hardware from X61T? I'll probably need X61T LCD bezel?? what else would I need?

The whole lid is different. There would be no way to get the cable in without the thicker lid and the center hinge.
