I want to replace the lower case assembly on my x60s.

When I look at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 62906.html
I get 13 different fru's for the x60s.
And 2 for my the x60s-1704 (my model)

Why are there so many fru's ?

I was thinking about ordering http://cgi.ebay.com/42W2657-IBM-Lower-c ... 0346255361
But this ebay item has the fru for the x60s-1702 ?

My guess is that they are all functionally equivalent except for a machine type label. If you don't care about matching labels then any one of those FRU's would work.
