hello,
I have x61s with build in antenna ( right side of lcd) and sim socket - there is place for minipci modem, but there is only one antenna cable, is it normal? I am not sure, but miniPci modems have 2-3 sockets for antenna?
Regards,
Michal

Yes, there is only one cable to the WWAN modem. I took my card out a while ago, don't remember the number of connectors on it.
I do know that wireless cards have multiple connectors for the MAIN and AUX (left and right) antennas, and may include a 3rd for operating on a different frequency (eg. A/N).

Newer Thinkpad's have more than one cables for the WWAN modem. If your WWAN modem has two connectors, you can always connect an internal antenna to the secondary connector.
