Keyboard bezel / upper case

Hi,
I droped my x60s some year ago, and all but the IR cover seemed fine.

Now the Keyboard bezel/upper case developes some cracks in the lower right corner and actually broke above the modem connector.
Is this an indication of some internal damage, or should I be fine with just a new bezel?
If yes: where to get it(esp. in Europe)? the link to IBM maintenace parts as linked here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=59859
is dead by now.

I guess an yof these FRU should fit: 39T7304 , 39T7480 , 42W3768 , 42W3770

cheers

Thanks for the link!

it seems that this x61 part has additional air intakes on the right side... Is this a good idea? I would guess yes, but it could disturb some airflow design...
as the x60s has one fan and some x61 two...

The air venting holes on the right side are a benefit even if your machine does not have a second fan. There is absolutely no issue with disturbance of the air flow if you use that bezel. The only issue is that the X61 bezel does not have an "opening" for the Infrared port of the X60, since the X61 does not have an Infrared port ... but I suspect that does not matter to you!
