I have this issue where the trackpoint will stop working for a few days at a time in windows 7. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Fully at random with windows 7. With windows xp I never had this issue once, Since I have installed windows 7 i have been having this issue.
Are there updated drivers for windows 7 with the x60 with intel 945gm chip set.

For a few days - as in it still doesn't work after you reboot?
Do you have the latest driver installed? It's universal.

IBM does not have drivers for windows 7 for that stuff. Intel drivers does not work as it says I have to use the vendor specific drivers.
The trackpad and video drivers seem to fail and have errors at the same time. They were not working all day today, about 10-15 reboots. and all of a sudden both are working again

I'm confused - what does Intel have to do with trackpoint drivers?
If you are talking about graphics drivers separately then YES the generic Intel drivers work great in Windows 7.

The issue is that the Intel Video Card drivers and the Trackpoint drivers seem to fail and have issues at the same time.
Right now the Video is working but the trackpoint is not. In Device Manager both show Errors.
The trackpoint has the error "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Video has "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)"
While last night the video driver was working just fine until I turned it off and rebooted it this am.
