Broken SD card reader on T410

Hi everyone,

I put an SD card in the reader UPSIDE DOWN and unfortunately it doesn't work anymore.
When I insert an SD card in the correct way (!), the card appears in Explorer but can't be read.

I saw the thing is attached to the mobo... can I order a replacement from IBM?

It is possible that you bent the contacts inside the reader, and possibly shorted it out. You should be able to find one on ebay for cheaper than a lenovo replacement. You will need to find the FRU number, either on the reader itself or online.
