Stylus issues with X60 tablet

The cursor on my tablet PC ‘stutters’: I can’t consistently and smoothly drag and select, for example. The cursor might grab the first part of my selection, then miss words, then de-select the first part of the selection, the grab the last part of the selection. This happens when I use the tablet PC pen/stylus. It happens in Word and Excel.

Has anyone ever had this issue with selecting text on their tablet with the stylus? This issue has been very frustrating because my highlighted text keeps resetting and I am selecting text.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have another pen to try, or another tablet to try your pen on?

You can also try Wacom Penabled drivers if your tablet supports that (google for them).
