New owner of X60-tablet, need to install OS

Today I acquired an X60T touch screen edition+x6 base. The hard drive has been wiped out by the owner (the restore partition was also wiped out). There is a XP 2005 tablet edition license sticker on the bottom.
I could not find online anywhere to download the XP tablet edition. On the microsoft site, it says the XP tablet edition is not distributed widely, only by OEM manufacturer or via subscription of MSDN (something like that). Where can I download the xp tablet edition so I can use my legit licsense sticker?
Alternately, I read somewhere a while ago (cannot find the thread) here that you can install Windows 7 which by default, include all drivers needed for tablet. Can someone confirm that?

Yes...Windows 7 supports the ThinkPad Tablet. You can test drive from this link.
You can install ThinkVantage Update 4.0 to finish getting any missing drivers.

You should be able to obtain a set of "recovery" disks, containing XP SP3 Tablet along with some config files, directly from Lenovo. There are a couple resellers on eBay and elsewhere as well. These disks can be used to restore your computer to "factory" original state -- you can't use them to install XP on any old computer, they reproduce the disk state of the specific model. Lenovo Canada sold me mine for $40-50 CAD plus $5-10 shipping (for others reading this thread, that equals approx. $45 USD). They arrived within 1-3 days. You may decide you want these disks regardless of whether you end up using Windows 7 because they can be useful if you want to resell or pass on the computer to someone else later.
Having said that, many people feel that Windows 7 is actually a better choice for Tablet PCs specifically because there are many improvements in the integration of tablet features between XP Tablet and Windows 7 -- that's why you can use a regular Windows 7 install and you don't need a special Tablet version anymore.

I took your advice and gave Win7 a try. I installed Windows 7 ultimate.
I installed every single drivers from the lenovo website, however I still have the following issue:
- Unknown device, on location ICH7M/U LPC interface Controller -27B9
I looked up the error on the internet, some said is is the Chipset driver, other said it is the TPM Atmel chip. I installed the chipset driver and the Atmel program, still not working.
I tried uninstalling the device, scan for hardware changes, tried Windows update, still not working
Could someone please provide help.
My machine is 6364-AM3
