Hello,
I recently got a LCD Philips TV with VGA input and the native matrix is 1366 x 768
I am trying to extend my desktop to the TV... I managed to get it working in 1440 x 900 but the display is not so great.
The 1366 x 768 was not available so I downladed the latest Intel 965 driver from the Lenovo X61 official download page, but still the 1366 x 768 setting is not in the list.
Any idea???
Alex
How to get 1366 x 768 on X61 external VGA???

The Intel graphics chip has 1280X768 as one of its options. This would be your best bet, since it would match directly with the TV's native 768 pixel height. That should leave you with a slight margin at either side, but would give you better clarity than 1440X900.
At least that is how it should work with a regular LCD monitor. I am assuming your TV will work the same way.
