Hello

I bought this ram, but I am not 100% sure if it fits to X60. Any comment? Thanks

I don't see why it wouldn't work. X6X models are pretty forgiving when it comes to PC2-5300

DDR2 667 is the right one, it should work. I have a similar RAM in my X60 from Mushkin

You are right with the 3GB chipset limit. Is the other RAM slot in use? If yes, one stick with 2GB should be enough for Win7/XP. If the other slot is free, you may add another 1GB Stick, you could add another 2GB too in case a pair of 2x 2GB RAM is cheaper than 2GB + 1GB (it sounds crazy but it happens. I also have 2x 2GB in my desktop albeit using a 32bits Win7)
