X60 RAM

Hi, just ordered an X60, says it comes with 1GB RAM. I Checked Thinkwiki and it listed either 512MB or 1GB as RAM. Is this the limitation or is it 3GB?

You can install up to 4GB in 2 GB DIMMS but the unit will only "see" and use 3GB. This is a chipset issue that has been documented on this forum over and over.

So basically just stick to 1GB + 2GB sticks.
