X61s black screen when docked in Ultrabase X6

I just recently bought a used X61s together with a Ultrabase X6. When I try to dock the x61s it shows nothing but black screen. It "looks" like (by the sound) thats the x61s is booting but I never get a picture on the screen. I tried to connect an extern monitor to the vga connector on the dock, but no picture as well.
Do I have to set up the dock i BIOS or is it suppose to be play-and-play?

it should be plug and play, i didn't have to do anything to it. What OS are you using?

Sounds like a bad X6 dock.

Thanks for your replies. The x61s is running a clear version of Windows 7 x64 pro. If I dock the x61s while it's running, the screen remains on, but I don't get access to to the DVD-RW drive nor USB are working. The machine charge perfectly through the dock and im able to open the dvd-drive aswell.
Any ideas?

Take the DVD drive out of the dock...if it still does not work it is a bad dock. I would then contact the seller.
