Hello,

I have a X60 Tablet und Windows7 Professional 64bit.
I install Windows form an ISO and the driver with Lenovo Systemupdate.

There's a big problem with the SD-Card Reader:
- no error on devicemanager
- If I put some SD-Cards (512MB) in:
> a green LED is lightning on the cardreader
> a new driverletter is coming after a while
> "Secure Digital Storage" is shown
> and there is a message to format the (formatted) card!
- if I try to format, there's coming the formatbox with no memorysize and an error, if I try to format.

The cardreader is no damaged, it functionate well before with Win7 32bit.
there must be a problem with the driver, I tried to install some, but have no success.

? Who have a X60 with Win7/64bit and the cardreader is o.k. ?
? what cardreader is built in ?

? Could anyone help me ?

Thanks!
Korbinian

You have a X60T with a Core 2 Duo? I didn't know they existed.

First of all, did you try another SD card?

Yes, my X60 Tablet (6363-C7G) has an Intel Core2 CPU: L7400, 1,50GHz/1,50Ghz.
And its the SVGA+ Screen.
Look here: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X60_Tablet

I tried some SD-Cards: 1GB, 512MB

Now I downgraded to Windows7 HomePremium 32bit. And the Cardreader is also down.

Did you update the bios or something along those lines recently?

Have you tried another driver version?

perhaps there are something wrong in BIOS?

In the Config>PCI are all items "11"
(like here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 65183.html)
Look here: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... 7912_a.pdf
search for "IRQs for the PCI might be all set as 11"

In XP there is a "code 10" in the devicemanager at the SD memory card. I can't install another driver.

could it be a problem if in BIOS the SATA stand on "compatible" instead of "AHCI"? but win-XP is only installable with "compatible".

Try loading defaults in the BIOS, and try updating it to the latest version.

Physically look at the card reader and see if there is anything stuck in it, or something along those lines. Did you take your machine apart?
