Looking to buy an X6 ultrabase, a few simple questions.

1. There are two versions, one for the tablet and one for the X60-X61.
2. Is it important to get the key with it.
3. Can i use my X61 adaptor, or does the ultrabase need its own.
4. Can you use any standard dvd/cd drive in it.

1. Yes, FRU 40Y8116 is for the non-tablet, FRU 41U3120 is for the tablet.

2. As long as the base comes unlocked, then it's not a problem. Replacement keys can be ordered from I.T. Xchange for about $20 using the bar code label from the bottom of the system.

3. Yes, the regular AC adapter can be used on the Ultrabase.

4. As long as the 'standard' drive is an Ultrabay Slim device.
