Which x60s or x61s thinkpad gives you most hours with the 4 cell battery? I read that there are different cpus which result in different power consumption. These are what I read within this forum - the x200s series is in competition with the x60s series for my next subnotebook:
x60s 4 cell battery: 4,5 hours with 1,35 kg
x200s 6 cell battery: 8 hours with 1,35 kg
x200s 4 cell battery: 5 hours with 1,1 kg
I'd love to have some runtime estimates for having WLAN and full brightness activated. I do not need WWAN or bluetooth etc.

The numbers above do not look right to me. More realistic/accurate numbers are as follows:
X60s/X61s with 4-cell Enhanced = 2.5-3.5 hours.
X200s with 4-cell = 2.5-3.5 hours, 6-cell = 4.5-5.5 hours, 9-cell = 7.5-9 hours.
[Note: If your decision between an X60s and X61s will be based on battery life -- perhaps the X60s runs 2-5% longer -- then you would be served far better by an X200s.]
All above with WiFi on, screen at approx 70% brightness, "normal" CPU duty cycle (as in browsing, document editing, and even playing video files).

Thanks for your numbers! When I use my notebook, I usually try to maximize contrast and therefore do not dim my screen to the lowest level. In this case, I think a x200s will fit my needs more.
