(Just got)Tablet Screen Marks/ Scrape or Scratches expected?

Hi all Just got an X60 tablet & it has 2 or 3 what look like scrape or scratch marks on the screen.
Most noticeable on a white background. 1 is to put it mildly quite large. Tried to get a pic but they dont show up really on my camera phone. Never had a tablet & only really seen in passing so was wondering if this is normal as i was just expecting a few more blemishes/pressure marks to the screen than on a regular x60 but not this.
Seller never mentioned these & i am thinking of returning or certainly asking for some money back!
Apart from that seems in decent condition.
Will try & dig out my camera & see if they show up on a pic from that, although i have to confess i am not much of a photographer!

It's not normal. I would return it. The tablet pen does not scratch the surface under normal use.

Many Thanks for the quick reply Harry, i have managed to get a couple of pics .As well as the 2 scratches you can see here there are a couple of smaller ones .
The screen also is very heavily marked as you can see from the other pic.
In fact it is quite possibly the worst laptop screen i have seen!

Very good cometic condition. The plastics have some marks due to normal wear and tear, but no significant dents or scratches.

Screen was not mentioned!

I believe if I look hard enough there would be microscopic scratches here and there, but the one in your pic? No...

This is an easy one...eBay (I assume you bought this on eBay?) does not like it when people misrepresent an item. The seller said the "plastic" had scratches...the screen is not plastic but rather is made of "glass". The plastic pieces are like the bezels, covers, etc.

I would use the eBay/PayPal buyer protection method to get your $$ back. The seller did not correctly identify the screen damage. I have never been turned down for a claim.

Thanks loyukfai yes it is quite noticeable on that pic, its not a major distraction for me when using thankfully.
Hi Bill yes it was ebay, to be fair the seller has been very good & offered me a full refund. I said i would possibly consider keeping if he would discount heavily the purchase price. I asked for 50% Off (rather Cheeky of me i know!) He offered a 1/3rd back which coincidentally was the limit price in my head that i had set to consider keeping it at!
I tested the battery & it ran for 2hrs playing a DVD from a usb drive so i thought that was a rather good sign as i would probably get around 3 hours surfing?
Also the processor was the more powerful 1.8ghz version & you dont seem to see them as often so this was a bonus.
Apart from the screen & a broken lid catch, the rest of it is in good shape.
Ok it is quite a basic configuration, 1gb RAM 80gb hdd no bluetooth or multitouch 1024 res. But the stylus was provided & apart from a small issue with wifi occassionally dropping(which fingers crossed i have now resolved) seems to work well.
I have decided to keep it as with the decent battery & speedier cpu i think it is a fair deal at the price & a cheap introduction to tablets for me. He has issued a partial refund for me now & if my currency conversion head is correct it has cost me a little over $200 delivered which i am happy with.
Im sure if i decide to sell i could certainly get around that back, Maybe even a little more if i sold the stylus & battery seperately?
I have just stuck an extra gb of RAM in & am on the lookout for an ultrabase now.

Glad you resolved it peacefully and satisfactorily with the seller.

Just a month ago or so, I was on the short end of a dispute as a seller and at the end, the worst impression on my mind was the unhelpful (to the seller) EBay customer service representatives and system. I would have lost the money if not the buyer eventually gave it back to me.
