Can anyone suggest a reliable source for a replacement screen for my x61?

My machine is a notebook ... 767374U.

I have replaced the panel on a Palm 650. so I might be able to replace my panel. I would appreciate your thoughts on how complicated a job it is.

New is probably better for me. I would also appreciate any thoughts on new vs used.

I've done a lot of screens and others may have different opinions, but I think that X60 screens are among the easiest to screw up. Things are tight with the antenna wires, especially if you have the WWAN option. (It looks like you do not) The hinges are light weight and most of the strength comes from the lid itself. They are easy to bend. I tend to get used screens on eBay, and strongly prefer screens with IBM/Lenovo FRU stickers. I avoid items that are described as compatible.

I would go to any eBay seller who has good feedback. Just make sure to read the description carefully to know what you are getting.
